- F.A.Q: Plant/Climate Zones
- Check here for answers to frequently asked questions about how to find out what zone you are in, and what the zones mean.

- 1. In the Master Gardener manual, it often refers to different regions, but I can't find where those regions are listed, nor a link to another website which clarifies the regions. Can you help me figure out in which region I am located in? - Top
- You can find a map of Arizona Plant Climate zones, along with a brief description of each zone at http://ag.arizona.edu/pubs/garden/az1169/.
To figure out what region you are in, locate the city nearest you (or the one that you live in) from either the zone descriptions or the map itself. The map is color coded to match the climate zone that you are in.
An important thing to remember is that the climates of adjoining zones grade into one another near their boundaries. This sometimes makes it possible to grow plants that are too cold tender for a given zone, or it may exclude certain plants at the coldest extremes of that zone.
