A central mission of the University of Arizona Herbarium is to serve the public as a major source of information on the vegetation of Arizona and plants in general. Throughout the year, we host events to promote education and awareness of native plants and the important role they play in our everyday lives. We also encourage the public to meet our scientists and learn about the diverse botanical research projects based at the University of Arizona Herbarium.
