The University of Arizona Herbarium provides numerous resources for plant identification and botanical research.
Our collection of over 400,0000 dried plant specimens, including nearly 250 types, may be consulted directly at the herbarium, as loans to other institutions, or over the internet using the new ARIZ specimen database or the SEINET web portal.
In addition to plant specimens, the herbarium houses a large collection books and journals on botany and horticultural, and significant holding of botanical illustrations and historical photos from the southwest.
