Specimen database

The University of Arizona Herbarium (ARIZ) specimen database provides online access to information on collectors, collecting dates and localities, plant descriptions and identifications of our herbarium specimens.

Data entry of specimen label information is ongoing; currently more that one third (167,000) of our physical collection of over 400,000 specimens has been databased. In addition to databasing label information, we are also actively georeferencing specimens without latitude and longitude.
