Watering Trees

Trees that have been watered too frequently with a small amount of water
should be weaned gradually over a period of a month or two by increasing the
frequency as well as the water.
The palo brea that is being watered 1/month in summer can exist but will do
much better if it is deep watered every two weeks.
Check out the following website from the Master Gardener Manual on watering
desert plants.
Good luck. Rod
