Arizona SciTech Festival Events Throughout February 2012
The Arizona SciTech Festival showcases Arizona as a national leader in science, technology and innovation through a series of events taking place January 25-March 14, 2012. The Festival is a grass roots collaboration of over 200 organizations in industry, academia, arts, community and K-12, geared to excite and inform Arizonans ages three to 103 about how science, technology and innovation will drive our state for the next 100 years.
Science festivals are public celebrations that offer a wide range of science, technology, engineering and math-related activities: creative exhibitions, demonstrations, performances, tours, debates, workshops and concerts, over a period of several days or weeks, in a variety of locations.
University of Arizona Cooperative Extension is offering workshops in all 15 Arizona counties, mainly through the month of February, as part of the festival. Please go to http://extension.arizona.edu/news/arizona-scitech-festival and click on the events that interest you.
