Research & Demonstration Advisory Committee (RADAC)
The RADAC is comprised of one member (preferably a senior scientist)
from each IALC Member Institution. The IALC Managing Director serves as
an ex officio member of the RADAC. All members of the RADAC are ratified
by a majority vote of the Board, and cannot be Board members. RADAC members
are appointed for 3-year overlapping terms. The Board insures that RADAC
members represent the diversity of disciplines associated with Consortium
interests. It is the responsibility of the RADAC Chair to liaison with
the Board on all technical, scientific, and related outreach matters.
At the Board's direction the RADAC shall:
- advise and counsel the Consortium on the scientific and conceptual
aspects of its ongoing and proposed research and demonstration program;
- evaluate the Consortium's research and demonstration activities;
- review the Consortium's research and demonstration activities; and,
- advise the Board about individuals and organizations wishing to become
member institutions, sponsors, or affiliates.
The RADAC also will furnish annual reports to the Board of all the research
and demonstration activities through the use of Consortium funds.
