HELP!!! Fellow Master Gardeners. I'm a fairly new MG and have not developed a good base of contacts among you. I've had serious storm damage to my 30 year old trees, at my home in Tempe. Our home was the recent top story in the Valley this past Saturday, who's 30 yr old pine tree uprooted and fell on my car, etc. I could really use some personal recommendations on some really good arborists. Though several neighbors have pitched together and, for the most part, cut up several the mature trees that were downed -- we need an estimate of what that type of job might have cost to have had done professionally (for insurance). We also need someone who can assess the trees that are left and are badly damaged that may possibly have to be removed. I want to save the trees if I can. Eventually I may need lots of other help also to rebuild the mess(large tree replacements, landscape design). My once peaceful habitat that housed many birds is bare. Our culdesac was home to many birds who are now dead and flying around dazed looking for their nests, babies, and eggs. Very sad. If you e-mail me I will give you my cell #. I'm trying to call the MG office, too. Thank you all for you prompt replies.
