I grew some great globe artichokes. The plants got huge and had to be cut down after blooming.  one of the stumps left in the ground has a couple of baby plants left on it. will the original plants come back up? I still water them, especially the one with the small plants on it. Can they be grown from seed? when is the best time to grow artichokes? Thanks. S.
