[Arid_gardener] RE: Black plastic nursery pots

 I am curious, since the black plastic pots that nurseries use "cook" the
roots of plants in our hot climate, why isn't a lighter color used? Is there
some technical/manufacturing/materials reason why these are black? Or are
the companies that make them all in cold climates?? Maybe someone knows the
answer to this; it has puzzled me for some time. Thanks,
