Western Sod recommends at
http://www.westernsod.com/index.php?page=seasonalcare.html
For dormant Bermudagrass overseeded with winter rye grass:
December:
"After OSR is established, water every 4-14 days, to a soil depth of 4-6
inches"
January and February
:"Water every 5-10 days, depending on the weather, to a soil depth of 4-6
inches"
March: " Deep water (8-10 inches) every 3-5 days."
For Non Overseeded Bermudagrass:
December through April:
"As dormant grass, water to a soil depth of 8-10 inches once a month, or
less if it rains"
Watering depth can be determined by inserting a steel rod or screwdriver
into the turf.
