For citrus, see Pub. 1151, "Irrigating Citrus Trees" at

Pomegranates are more difficult; They don't need very much water but can also tolerate a fairr amount of water. You need to water evenly at regular intervals to reduce the tendency of the fruit to split which attracts the grey leaf-footed bug. We water ours at three week intervals in spring through fall and not at all in the winter.

I have an ornamental citrus tree and a pomegranite tree in my backyard. What is recommended watering, fertilization and season for fruit bearing? Thanks!
