I'm new to AZ and just got back from a trip to France where I really loved the great leafy vines growing on many of the houses there. We have a Tuscany style home in a reddish stucco and I think some vines would look wonderful. I would like to find a vine or climbing plant to grow in 2 places. Firstly at the front of our house to soften the front door area and secondly at the back of the house around our patio area. In both places the plant would need to grow on stucco and it would be good if it didn't kill the stucco. Also I know some vines (trumpet vines) send out runners and can be hard work to contain to a certain area so something that doesn't suddenly show up in the neighbors yard would be good! Both locations recieve a lot of sun although the front area would be in shade by mid/late afternoon.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Clair
