Flood irrigation is usually available to residents within the district
serviced by the Salt River Project. If you pay your electricity bill to
the SRP you can probably also get SRP irrigation water, usually monthly
during the winter months and twice monthly in the summer. If you pay
your electricity bill to the City of Chandler you are probably not in
the SRP district and SRP water would not be available to you. Call the
SRP to find out. I would also expect that flood irrigation using
Chandler's potable drinking water would be prohibitively expensive.
