[Arid_gardener] Question from Home-Hort WWW page

Beatrice, has anyone attempted to answer your inquiry? If not, tell me what kind and size pot the grape is in. Is it exposed to direct sun? what kind of a surface is it setting on now? It sounds like the roots are suffacating in a "too wet" environment without air. But that is only a guess. Grapes thrive in the desert if properly cared for. But, this plant should be in the ground.

One option; take the vine back to the seller and ask what the heck is wrong with it. Without a satisfactory answer, demand an exchange with instructions on planting and culture.
