Moved into an acre irrigated community in Gilbert. Spoke w/ neighbor last nite about scorpions. Story goes that 10 years ago a dairy farm 3/4 mile away was removed and a housing development (non-irrigated) went in. Builders spent time removing the dairy sewage lagoons by excavating and lime stabilizing the soil. Not long after the scorpions arrived whence prior there were zero. I have cat and dog pets. What can I put down (natural or otherwise)to eradicate the scorpions? I have heard borax or boric acid or lime but is this safe with the pets? Also heard Sevin works but again, safe for pets? Please help.
