[Arid_gardener] Pigeon Problem

Anyone out there have a way to get rid of neighborhood pigeons?  I've got a
friend who is having a problem with pigeons who roost on a neighbor's roof.
My friend has a small table built into the shallow end of the pool and the
pigeons think it is the finest spot in the neighborhood to gather.   He says
the mess is constant.  If anyone has any suggestions, he would really
