[Arid_gardener] Tommie Taylor -- hyaluronic acid

Dear Tommie,

Starchy root veggies such as sweet potatoes -- are high in magnesium,
which stimulates HA.
Want to try the exotic? Grow konyaku (another root vegetable) or the
imoji potato root.

If you (or someone close) is trying to treat a connective tissue
disorder or fibromyalgia, have them mix up a soup
or stew which contains cartilage, bones, and joints -- this will pack a
wallop of HA. Tell the person to eat this broth/stew
regularly... sans the bones. (If the person is a vegan, encourage
him/her to begin eating meat again. Vegetables containing HA
will do *very little* to slow the progression of the disorder, and *even
less* at controlling the pain .)

Good Luck! Genie
