I live on the San Carlos Apache Reservation. I have one green apple tree in my front yard. I have had it for about nine years. The land here is desert and the soil is very brown (maybe alkaline). This year the apple tree had one side that started to dry out. And two or three large branches became dry and died. The trunk of the tree is cracked and has white moles. The tree is still alive and has green apples. When the tree was healthy it would grow full and it is about eight feet in height, please what can I do to correct the problem.
Thank You Dennis
