#1 I live in an area of condos with extensive "Green Belt" areas. Two trees recently have been removed and the formerly shaded areas surrounding each has sprouted crab grass and nut grass. The crab grass is dormant but the nut grass is doing well.
#2 Please suggest a good desert tree that can handle being watered like Bermuda grass, if such exists, to replace our lost trees and shade.

Thank you for any help.

Pete
