Some leaf drop is normal for citrus particularly when new leaves
are pushing out.
Too much fertilizer-follow fertilizer instructions on the bag.
Water before fertilizer and deep to after fertilizing.
Too much or too little water.. Citrus needs a monthly deep
watering in winter and twice monthly in summer. Apply oiut to the edge of
the canopy. Test depth of penetration by inserting a slim steel rod. Should
penetrate easily from 1 - 3 feet depending on the age and size of he tree.
