[Arid_gardener] which fruit trees do you recommend

My sister lives between Safford and Pima and has healthy pecan trees 
and i wanted to bring her grapes, apple, apricot, pear, fig and plum 
or peach if they would grow?? Please tell IF and what varieties might 
work well in this area. The soil needs work salty--alkaline. But she 
can mulch it. Thanks, Ann
