I have a large African Sumac tree that was planted last summer, big box.  It has not been pruned yet and it is very bunchy in one area.  I know how to prune mesquites and other desert trees but not this.  How low should we allow the branches to be or how high up from the ground should the tree be trimmed to.  I need a guide.
