[Arid_gardener] propagating red bird-of -paradise shrub from seeds

Red bird-of-paradise seeds have very hard coats.
Break or soften the coat by rubbing with a file
or sandaper, cutting a nick in the coat with a
knife, or soaking for 27 hours in water. Than plant
as usual.

Horticultural Cociety).
