The leaves of my transplanted strawberry plants are turning brown and shrivelling. It is an above ground bed. The leaves seem to start out dark green, but the edges eventually brown and shrivel. One book I read said that it could be a potassium deficiency in the soil or fertilizer burn. If this is the prblem, how can I amend the soil with potassium and prevent fertilizer burn?
