[Arid_gardener] Lantana's Life cycle? dormant stages?

Try waiting until January or February to prune. You may want to cut back a 
bit on watering, especially after pruning.  They need water  less now then 
they did in the summer.

In my experience, lantanas are pretty long-lived. here in the valley.   But 
in some colder regions, they are grown as an annual.

In he late fall and winter months, they are not completely dormant but there 
is little if any new growth.  They will continue to flower a bit but the 
blossoms are pretty wimpy.
