I am attempting to indentify a plant that is used as a border plant in our local Walgrens parking lot. No one can identify it locally, the only clue that we have is that the landscape company that installed it, came from Arizona. Looking at the U of A Flora Image gallery, I can tentatively ID the plant as Ruellia penisnsularis.  However my plant have a different leaf pattern. Could anyone ID these plants from the pictures I have taken? I would be happy to send them (jpeg 5X7s to anyone that would like to help.
