[Arid_gardener] Mexican Bird of Paradise Seeds

I just found your website and my Mexican Bird of Paradise is now making
seeds.  Is there a process that is required before you plant them?
Should I wait until Spring since I live south  of  Dallas, Texas,
actually in the Metroplex?  I fell in love with these plants on a trip
to Arizona in 2005.  I brought 3 home, but lost 2 in the winter.  The
remaining one has been gorgeous this year.

I would also like to know if I can purchase some in different colors
from you, or if you know where I can?  Thanks for your help.
