We have 2 trees on our property, 1 in the front yard and 1 on the West side of our home.  Each tree has the same problem.  The bark is comimg off and splint down to the center of the tree.  The bark is somewhat mushy.  We would like to know if there is anyone who could come out to our home, look at our trees and let us know what is going on and how to resolve this problem.
