I think you only have to ask them to find out, Barry, but save your reciept. I have always assumed that all the independent nurseries have a a fairly lienient, if unwritten, policy on returns but in 36 years of gardening in the Salt River Basin, I have only returned one (immediately) that was badly root-bound. Of the dozens of my planting failures, there were none other that I could honestly lay at the feet of the nursery. I would never ask a nursery to pay for my own ignorance.
