My four-year-old Chinese elm was surrounded by aggressive volunteer grass and the City of Chandler bossy-cows told me to cut and poison the grass or else. I spritzed on some Roundup--the grass came back green, but part of the elm is now brittle and has brown leaves. Some of it is still green. Is this from the Roundup? Darn!
