My four-year-old Chinese elm was surrounded by aggressive volunteer grass and the City of Chandler bossy-cows told me to cut and poison the grass or else. I spritzed on some Roundup--the grass came back green, but part of the elm is now brittle and has brown leaves. Some of it is still green. Is this from the Roundup? Darn!  (I am not Lucy Bradley)
