We maintain a property that has many Cape Honeysuckels that are 10-15 years old. About 1 month ago, the plants started dying sporadically, i.e. for a given area or zone, some would die and some appeared to be unaffected.

We inspected for insect damage and found nothing. We increased the watering to 2x per week at 1.5 hours/day. The plant dies by what appears to be a drying out of individual branches (no yellowing) before the whole plant succumbs.

Can you provide any insight as to what may be happening? Please advise.

Brian
