Hello, I have been trying to figure out where I can find cuttings for a
Pitaya cactus and if it is possible to grow my own Dragon Fruit.

ANSWER:
Brad,

Of course you can grow your own Dragon Fruit. If you grow it outdoors, grow
it in the shade and bring it indoors for the hottest part of summer and the
coldest part of winter. Hylocereus undatus (the source of dragon fruit)
needs to be kept fairly moist, as it is an epiphytic or jungle plant.

Go to www.stokestropicals.com/detail.aspx?ID=2122 where you can purchase
this plant. Just remember when any grower says a plant can take full sun,
they never mean Arizona's full sun!
