[Arid_gardener] agave snout nose weevil

Hi,

It looks like the Agave plants in our neighborhood have being infested by the agave snout nosed weevil.

A quick search of the internet showed that Diazinon was the preferred chemical to control these pests.

However, as you probably know that product is no longer available.  What chemical can I apply to my plants to stave off this pest.  I have lots of beautiful agave in my yard and I don't want to loose them all.
