[Arid_gardener] Culinary aspects of rosemary

Hi Adelina -- All rosemary is culinary... but not all are equally good to
cook with... It depends on your taste. I have over twenty varieties of
rosemary in my landscape but find that I only use two of them for cooking.
One rosemary plant I have is very "piney", and I would never use it to cook
with, but I like the way it looks in the landscape.
If you like the taste of your rosemary, then cook with it. Otherwise, go to
your local nursery and find one you like. They will taste the same in your
garden as they taste at the nursery.
Hope this helps!

Regarding rosemary, there are many varieties--I have a trailing variety.
Are all varieties equally good to cook with? amz
