[Arid_gardener] Valley of the Sun Spring Garden Tour

The Valley of the Sun Gardeners is one of the senior non-profit garden clubs in the Salt River Basin. Some of you are members. The group sponsors an annual home landscape and garden tour that has been a spring feature in the area for more than 15 years. A tour presently scheduled for March 31st from 9a to 4p has been compromised severely by the recent hard frost that hit the valley forcing all but three to drop out because of frost Damage. We are, therefore, searching for several homeowners to participate by volunteering their home landscape as part of the event. 
 
Although the function is this non-profit club's principal fund raiser, events of this nature have the effect of increasing the public's horticultural wisdom and raising the area awareness of the species that can thrive in this low desert with the proper culture.  
 
If you think you might derive personal satisfaction from having your own garden on exhibit, or, if you know someone who would, we would like to discuss it with you. This tour is in reality an outdoor, in-situ museum of horticultural art with individual home gardeners displaying their talent and artistic bent.
