Re:  "1030 trays" should say "1020 trays". The trays measure 10" X 20" at
the bottom and taper out toward the top.

I also neglected  to mention that many people still advocate starting seeds
in egg cartons in a warm place like tihe top of the refrigerator, then
growing out on a window sill.  I used to do it that way but I find that
germination and growth is faster with the warmth under lights and growth is
better than on a window still where there is not enough light and the plants
tend to become leggy.  Also the egg  cartons are too shallow for good gowth
and tend to dry out faster.  But it's worth trying o see if it works for
you.  Be sure to punch holes in the bottom of the cells to allow excess
moisture to drain.
