[Arid_gardener] antelope squirrels

How can we control antelope squirrels?  We have moved out into the desert about 8 miles north of Surprise.  The squirrels scale the block wall and eat every thing we plant.  The dogs have managed to catch a few of them, but they are everywhere.  We can keep the rabbits out and are putting up some barbed wire in the front to keep the cows out, but the squirrels have me baffled and rather irritated.  ;-))  They eat cacti that are covered in thorns, young trees, and think the veggies are just for them.  Cayenne pepper helps some. 

Any help is greatly appreciated.
