Live in flood irrigated community, White Fence Farms IV located at Gudalupe and Greenfield just east of the Eastern Canal.
Want to plant row of Cottonwoods. Neighbors have advised that an infestation of bores nearly wiped out every cottonwood in Gilbert 2 years back and it may not be "safe" to plant cottonwoods yet.
Please advise.  THX
