Your necterine tree, just like animals, should come of age before bearing.
If the tree can't bear to bear or if the tree is unhealthy, it may abort all
or most of the fruit as a self preservation defense to protect the whole
organism. But wait, aren't necterine trees either male or female needing a
companion of thevopposite? I am not sure but if you baren't either, it might
bbe well to check.
Cukes have both male and female blossoms. The girls come first and the males
show up later to party. Until pollinized, the fruit just turns yellow and
falls to the ground. I have been through the same frustrations but be
patient. The guys will have their day.
