I have a Palo Brea tree that is approximately 5 years old. I've noticed at the top of the trunk, where the branches start and slightly above the first few branches, there are small holes in the trunk, with several of them seeping a sort of sap, which either runs down the trunk of the tree and in some cases drops directly to the ground. Is this normal for the tree or does my tree have a problem?
