[Arid_gardener] Help! With my Italian Cyprus Trees

Hi Linda,  I guess you are the expert on Italian Cyprus.  We have them running along our back fence about 18” apart.  They were there when we bought the house. The are beginning to look a bit sparse.  They seem very dry and brown on the inside but green on the outside.  The inside leaves fall off when you brush them.  Is this normal?  If not what should I do?
