We had a hard freeze a couple of days this past winter. I planted two trees in July 2006;#1 acacia saligna #2 acacia salicina. They were both doing great until the freeze. May question is both trees upper torso including the branches are bare,no new growth,leaves etc. I did the nail check under the bark which has darkened and no green underneath. However, checking near the bottom of the trunk it is more supple and green underneath. Should I give them more time or should I replant? Other acacias in my area are green and blooming. Thank you
