I'd like to grow Stocks but don't know when to plant them here in Tempe.  The ONEBOOKAZ for kids is about a young Japanese/American girl who brings stock seeds to the Poston Internment camp in Arizona during World War II and grows the seeds.  I would like to have a group of children grow some stocks.  Do I need to wait until the weather cools in September or October to plant them?
