Sheldon:

Instuctions on how to determine how much water your grass needs and how much it is receiving can be found in a free publication called Landscape Watering by the Numbers. This book is available free of charge at most libraries or online at http://www.wateruseitwisely.com/waterguide/index.shtml. There is also a Desert Lawn Care Guide available at http://www.amwua.org/conservation/desert_lawn_care-english.pdf. Both of these references are published by the The Arizona Municipal Water Users Association. The lawn care guide goes over fertilization, mowing, aeration, etc.

Please let us know if you need any further information.

> How long and how frequently should I be watering my lawn? It is dead in some patches, and green in others.
> How do I tell how much water is going on the lawn over a certain time period? (run it for 10 mins, how much water is going on the lawn?...)
