Our Key lime tree, which is 20+ years old and regularly a champion bearer, suffered greatly during the heavy freeze last winter. Relieved when new leaves finally appeared this spring, I removed all the dead branches back to the new growth. Now we're seeing young shoots (at various points all over the tree) starting the wither; some have fallen off spontaneously. I've read about "dieback," Citrus Mesophyll Collapse, and Hendersonula branch wilt and don't really have a clue as to which of these (if any) our tree's been struck by. Any advice possible online -- or should I take a specimen to one of the Master Gardeners?
