Hello,  The  5 foot Brazilian Pepper Tree from Home Depot is planted. After planting I realized the top was broken off.
This is a problem I thinkand I am contemplating returning tree.  I wanted the tree to become tall, and realize the main trunk will not be able to grow tall only wider with the top (topped off)  Will this happen.  
The tree will help hide two story at rear yard in postage size yard.  I need green all year.  Are there any other trees you might suggest.  I see from posts in Florida, Pepper tree is considered a weed.
