[Arid_gardener] citrus in containers?

I have recently purchased two 5 gallon lime trees, one Bearrs (semi-dwarf), 
the other Mexican Lime.  I would like to grow these in containers.  Would 
that work for these trees?  If so, how big do the containers need to be, how 
often to water, etc?  Would they be able to stay in containers permanently, 
or would they need to be tranplanted into ground eventually?  These are my 
first attempt at citrus, so any info would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks 
for any help.
