You didn't sign your name so I will address you as unkefero. I have been a
certified Master Gardener since 1995 and have made many house calls and will
make more if required as have and do many other people in the service do.
But, you have to keep in mind that we are all volunteers, most of us have
extensive yards to care for, many have families and work 40 hours a week or
more and, with gasoline at about 3 bucks a gallon, travel to peoples homes
can be a bit expensive for those of us on fixed income and a Master Gardener
never accepts a fee. We have all been trained by University personal but out
teachers are the experts. In addition, many Master Gardeners are brilliant
but one has to remember we are all amateurs, some more amateur than others.
The home owner should know first hand that the volunteer has made his best
educated guess about a set of symptoms and could be wrong.

I personally have no clue what leaf scorch looks like.

Your best bet, if you have a bonified problem, is, in my humble opinion, to
take plant parts to your nearest retail nursery where you regularly trade.
Most will, for obvious reasons, go all-out to help. These people are better
equiped than any of us to diagnose a problem especially since they may have
seen a hundred similar cases.

The other option is to find your nearest University of Arizona Maricopa
County Cooperative Extension where the true experts in all matters
horticultural and agricultural are headquartered. The agency does a huge
service for the public and, technically, exist to serve the citizens of the
State in which you reside and they do so eagerly.

Master Gardener Volunteers function as an amatuer arm--so to speak, of those
facilities.

This forum is distributed far and wide. If my appraisal is off the mark,
Some one or many will jump in to dispute my veracity but that is a safety
feature that works to educate us all about "Mrs. Smith's" dying plants.

Do not hesitate to respond if your inquiry is not satisfied.
